The driver's manual course is an 8-hour course based on the Virginia Driver's Manual and is designed to better prepare individuals for the knowledge test after three (3) test attempts. The course must be completed in its entirety before the issuance of a certificate of completion.
The course is available to teens and adults.
A refund will be provided if the school is not able to hold a class as scheduled (for example, weather or personal emergencies).
A refund will not be processed if 1) you receive a certificate or other qualifying form, 2) you are not eligible or have taken the wrong course, or 3) you fail to show up for class.
Please contact us before payment at 757-926-5956 or tndsiva@gmail.com if you have questions.
You must have failed the DMV knowledge test three times. If you complete this course before the third test attempt, the DMV will not accept your certificate.
If you are under the age of 18, you must present a certificate of completion for a Driver Education Course with at least 36 periods/30 hours before you are allowed to take the driver's manual course.
All ages must present a photo ID upon arrival. Accepted forms of identification must have a picture and full name (DMV-issued ID, valid passport, school ID, or government ID).
The course consists of a PowerPoint presentation, class lecture and discussion, knowledge checks, and a final exam. The final exam is 50 multiple choice questions and a minimum score of 80% is required to pass. If the final exam score is below 80%, you may return to take the exam again at no additional charge. However, per DMV rules, you can only take the final exam once per calendar day.
Our instructors teach the course in English but an ESL student can bring an interpreter at no additional cost. The entire course is completed in one day, and you receive your certificate the same day.
Bookings will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Don't delay!
How to Book Your Class
