The Passing of Mr. Vernon Smith

I am writing with my deepest regrets to announce the closing of Top Notch Driving Schools Inc. As some of you may know, my father and the owner of the school, Vernon Smith, passed away. As a result, the Department of Motor Vehicles will close the school to any new operations when our school license expires in October 2023.

Vernon loved meeting new students and checking in with previous students. After he retired from the Army and law enforcement, he dedicated the majority of his time to the driving school and was very fulfilled with teaching new and seasoned drivers. 

If or when our family decides to reopen, we intend to continue operating the school with Vernon's same commitment to helping students achieve their driving goals and providing driver training that helps keep our community safe.
